Background

Hi there! I was raised in NYC 🗽 and went to Yale for undergrad where I studied Psychology. I started my career in the CPG food and beverage space at PepsiCo, working on brands like Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Rockstar Energy, and Brisk Iced Tea. Recently, I took a break to chase after the many curiosities in my heart. I spent two months exploring five countries in Asia (Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam), dedicated some time to full-time modeling in NYC (4 seasons of NYFW and counting!), and moved to Paris 🥐 to study French cuisine 👩🏻‍🍳 at Le Cordon Bleu.

I’m now back in my favorite city, continuing to explore 💃🏻 Currently, I’m experimenting with different flavors of madeleines, practicing my culinary skills at home, and learning ceramics at a local studio. When I’m not out and about, I’m probably hanging out with my magical/beautiful/adorable/stunning/rambunctious/one-of-a-kind cat, Cheddar 🧀

My favorite meals

• 🦀 Crab curry from Somboon Seafood changed my life. After having it for the first time, I thought about it every week for two years until I found myself in Thailand again.
• 🍲 Pho has been there for me in the best of times and worst of times. There is no better comfort meal.
• 🍗 Fried chicken — ALL FORMS!! From Korean fried chicken to Nashville hot chicken to the cutlets in those Chinese bakery sandwiches, I am here for it 🙏🏻

What I’ve been learning and reading about lately

• 📚 Currently reading: I Who Have Never Known Men as part of a book club with my best friends from college.
• ✏️ Currently learning: all about gut health! I make my own yogurt, kombucha, and kimchi.
• 🍪 Currently practicing: desserts! I’m hoping to get more comfortable with baking - it requires soo much more precision and patience compared to cooking.
