Background

Hey everyone! I grew up in the Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C. with a few of my early years spent in Phoenix and Oklahoma City. I grew up in a close knit family where homemade meals and weekly bbqs with cousins were the norm. I have one younger sister who also lives in New York.

I went on to Northwestern University where I majored in Industrial Engineering and Economics. After graduating, I worked at BCG for few years where I spent half my time in healthcare, before jumping into the startup world. I then worked at Trove helping brands like Arc’teryx, REI, and Patagonia set-up and scale re-sale programs (the discounted gear was great perk!). Most recently, I was at Kopperfield where we built software for electricians to build and scale their residential electrification business (think EV charger, generator, and solar panel installs).

Outside of work I like to spend time being active outdoors. I love to ski, backpack, and scuba dive whenever I get the chance. In the city you can often find me on the WSH or in central park running or cycling.

My favorite meals

• 🍖 BBQ and anything made on a smoker - I love trying new recipes on my family’s Green Egg. Some favorites I’ve made are classic ribs, char siu porkbelly, smoked paneer, and tandoori chicken. Hopefully I get outdoor space in NYC and can get my own smoker one day!
• 🫒 Mediterranean - One of my go to cuisines, my favorites in the city are Miss Ada for a sit-down meal and Taboonette for a quick meal. Send any Mediterranean recs my way!
• 🍛 Indian - Home cooked chicken biriyani or masala crabs (a once a year Friday after Thanksgiving tradition) can’t be beat. Semma is my favorite in the city.

What I’ve been learning and reading about lately

• The brain - I recently read Why We Remember which dives into memory and cognition
• I’ve been trying to read more fiction lately - recent books I’ve enjoyed are Norwegian Wood and Martyr
