Background

Hey all! I was born in Shenzhen, China but grew up in Atlanta 🍑 in the South 🤠 As a kid I grew up playing Pokemon and Super Smash Bros on GameCube and the Nintendo DS, and briefly I wanted to be a game developer growing up! As a kid I also loved music and played saxophone in my school’s marching and jazz band. I went to college in WashU in the Midwest here I studied Design with a minor in Computer Science and History. There my love combining design and technology started.

Previously, I worked at a coffeeshop logistics startup called Odeko, where we were the “invisible backend” powering independent cafes and bakeries by helping them with procurement, logistics, and running their PoS systems. I joined as the second designer in a team of 30 people, and the team quickly grew to over 200+ in the 4 years I was there, so I love working at the pace of hyper-growth 🚀

I am based in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn so if you’re ever around the area let’s get coffee or go for a run!

A good Peruvian Lomo Saltado 🍛 (Peruvian food in general I love!)

Birria tacos, some of my favorite places are in Jackson Heights in Queens! 🌮

What I’ve been learning about lately

Surfing: I started a year ago in Portugal and have been having a lot of fun ever since!

Turkish: Türkçe’yi biraz biliyorum

Brazilian zouk - a partner dance that is equal partners flowy, meditative, and challenging.
