Background
Hi 👋🏻 I’m Callie! I grew up in Wayne, PA (outside of Philadelphia) and attended Bowdoin College in Maine, where I majored in Biochemistry and minored in English. After undergrad, I started working in healthcare consulting at Huron and had a brief West Coast stint living in San Diego! I then moved to NYC and began working for Stellar Health, a health tech startup in the value-based care space, where I’d been for 2.5 years before I joined Fay.
I live in NYC with my roommate, Grace (we were roommates all 4 years of college and still live together!). Outside of work, I love to take long walks on the west side highway, listen to podcasts, try new restaurants, spend time with friends, play tennis, and go to as many concerts as possible.
My Favorite Meals
- Mexican: Mexican food is my absolute favorite - chips + guac, any type of taco, lots of cilantro, etc (my time living in San Diego was ideal for this)
- Mediterranean/Middle Eastern: I love hummus, tahini, roasted veggies, and any type of meat on a skewer. Shuka/Shukette are two of my fave spots in NYC and I also recently went to Laser Wolf (still dreaming about the hummus and the fries there 😍)!
- Dark chocolate: self explanatory!
What I’ve been learning and reading about lately
- I recently read New Yorkers by Craig Taylor and loved hearing about all of the different lived experiences and stories that he gathered from 75 New Yorkers!
- I love podcasts, especially in the mental health/psychology/self-help sphere. One of my favorites is called the Good Life Project with Johnathan Fields and I recently listened to a really cool episode about circadian rhythms!
- Maid of honor duties - my sister is getting married next May so if anyone has tips on all things maid of honor/bridesmaid/wedding + bachelorette planning, please let me know!
