Background

I’m from Oakland, CA and currently live in Manhattan with two roomates. I finished my undergrad in Computer Science from MIT in 2022 and also played defensive back for the football team. (Yes, we do have a team! Pads and everything). After undergrad, I stayed for a victory lap and did my Master’s in Engineering while doing my thesis in the MIT Sports lab evaluating grit in NFL cornerbacks.

My internship experience was a mix of product management and software engineering, as I love building impactful products while also understanding the big picture. This is what led me to startups! My most recent position was with a startup that provides an AI leasing agent to multifamily apartment buildings.

Outside of work, I love to ski, travel, and try new restaurants in NYC. I’m in a few soccer leagues and am also learning how to play tennis.

My favorite meals

• Mexican: As many Californians are, I’m a snob about my tacos. I always get Al Pastor or Birria and have only found 4 places in all of the city that pass the test!
• Steak: I’m not much of a cook, but have learned how to reverse sear. I usually take a big chunk of Sunday nights to cook with my roommates and a ribeye is a frequent choice.
• Korean: While I’m usually incapacitated with a food coma by the end of the meal, I love going to all-you-can-eat KBBQ with my friends and ordering just about everything on the menu.
