Nice to meet you!
I was born in Seoul, South Korea. Moved back and forth a couple times between US growing up. I wanted to do something to save people’s lives, initially thought about becoming a doctor, then a soldier, but landed on designer.
As a motion designer at Fay, my goal is to bring clarity and delight to the users in their experience of our product. For example, making a button pop so they understand the app is working, or making a reward shine to amplify sense of achievement.
My favorite hobbies are: grocery shopping (especially Trader Joe’s), cooking for my wife (it’s not the same as cooking for myself), playing drums, reading novels & webtoons!
One of my most proud bucket list item is to become a jacked florist after I retire. Looking muscular, but holding flowers 💪💐 with green thumbs. I don’t know about plants much yet, but please feel free to share your fav plants & recipes with me 😄
I love food in general, but Korean cuisine is something deep in my bones I crave usually. However, I often mix various cuisines to create dishes I want. (Ex. Ramen with Korean style steamed pork)
