Background

I currently live in Silver Spring, Maryland (a step outside DC) with my fiancée, Alisa. Before that, we lived in Philadelphia together while Alisa finished her PA program at Thomas Jefferson. Before Philly, I started the mid-Atlantic cities tour in Baltimore.My hobbies involve a lot of reading and listening to audio books, playing video games (all kinds), practicing Muay Thai/Kickboxing, cooking, and writing code!

I went to school for computer science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. No, I am not Canadian, there were just many great reasons to go! I did not end up staying in the area after graduating because I was not a fan of the weather 🥶 🌨️. I also minored in History with a focus on late republic/early empire Rome. I wouldn’t call myself a History buff, but I definitely enjoy it!

Before joining Fay, I worked at another healthcare tech company in Philadelphia called HealthVerity where I worked on user facing and data processing systems. In Baltimore, I worked for Morgan Stanley as a Cybersecurity Engineer supporting the cyber analytics and incident response teams.

My favorite meals

• Phở: I first had this Vietnamese soup in California in my early teens and it has always stuck with me. During uni in Montreal, soup was especially good for those cold days and I fell in love with it. Now its my favorite meal! During my visit to Vietnam I was able to enjoy it from the source and it only made me appreciate it more. P.S. It’s a perfect hangover cure.

What I’ve been learning about lately

• I first started Muay Thai in college but I took a 5 year break and I am not getting back into it. Theres a lot to learn and I am getting back into it. Most of the lessons are that I am out of shape though…
• Although it’s not necessarily something I do to learn, I am an avid reader of scifi/fantasy novels. When I find a good book or series, I can tear through it in a couple days. Ask me and I will tell you everything I’ve read!

Get to know me a little better

This is my lovely fiancée Alisa. This is during our engagement shoot at the National Gallery of Art at the Smithsonian. Our wedding will be on August 31st 2024!

My parents dog Oliver, who they got while I was in high school and is still around today! Despite his majestic figure, he is the biggest wuss you’ll ever meet. He’s very scared of boxes.
