Hey how are ya? I’m Texas born and raised and grew up in Decatur a small rural town outside of Fort Worth on 5 acres with horses, dogs, and a crew of barn cats. I have an older brother and a younger sister. Yes, I do have middle child syndrome. Also my awesome parents who are high school sweethearts and still going strong.
My high school years were straight out of a Friday Night Lights episode — I was the quarterback dating the cheerleader. It all worked out though and football ended up earning me a scholarship to play at TCU. I was basically the Alex Moran of the team (for those who’ve seen Blue Mountain State) as far as playing time to be clear. Unlike today’s transfer portal era, I stuck it out and finished all five seasons at TCU ending on a high note starting the last three games of my college career — my claim to fame. Along the way I also earned both my Bachelor’s in Strategic Communication and a Master’s in Liberal Arts.
After college, I started in sales, shifted into recruiting and then moved into pharmaceutical sales which took me to Austin. For the past four years, I’ve worked in dermatology promoting a prescription acne treatment.
Outside of work you can find me on the water with friends, working out, running or doing yoga. I’m also a big coffee guy on a mission to find the best iced latte in town and always up for discovering and trying new spots. I also enjoy reading and traveling — Asia/Indonesia are next on my list.
