Background

Hello I’m Hannah! I’m from Boulder, Colorado, but I also spent parts of my childhood in Panama, Kenya, China, and Nepal thanks to my parents’ work (they are pretty cool).

My first dive into entrepreneurship came early: I started my own business as a kid (Hanimals) and was hooked. That curiosity stuck with me through college at Tufts, where I studied Economics and Entrepreneurship, played soccer, and worked at a VC/incubator helping other founders.

After college, I joined EY-Parthenon and spent 3.5+ years in the Software Strategy Group, working with tech companies on product and R&D strategy. I always knew I wanted to get back into the startup world — and I’m thrilled to now be at Fay, where I get to work on something that really matters.

In my free time you can find me hiking, biking, skiing or doing something outdoorsy (often escaping the city for a quick nature fix). In NYC, I love long walks, reading, exploring restaurants and exhibits, and staying active through various sport leagues and workout classes.

My favorite meals

• 🐷 Ibérico Pork Tonkatsu at Llama San — I dream about this dish (and the pesto noodles it comes with)
• 🌮 Mexican food — I’m always down for tacos. Favorites in NYC: Los Mariscos (ifyky its Los Tacos but seafood) and Taqueria Ramirez
• 🍣 Salmon bowls — My go-to at home; endlessly customizable depending on mood and toppings
• 👨‍🍳 Anything my brother makes — He’s a chef in Sydney (currently at St. Peter) and his cooking always inspires me to level up

What I’ve been learning about lately

• 🧘‍♀️ Stoicism and meditation — Working on building a consistent daily practice
• 🔥 Metabolism and energy — Recently read Good Energy about **how mitochondrial health is tied to energy, focus, aging, and long-term disease prevention
• 🍳 Cooking — I’ve been trying a new recipe every week!
• 🏐 Beach volleyball — It’s my latest new sport to learn (and yes, I’ll try and organize a team activity soon for the nyc peeps !)
