Background

Hey everyone! I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, as an only child to immigrant parents. I had an amazing, active childhood - I was always running around, staying busy, and definitely a bit of a nerd in the best way.

I went on to study Organizational Development and Computer Science at Vanderbilt University. During college, I held a whole bunch of jobs - everything from working in restaurants to startups to a venture capital firm - which gave me a great perspective on all kinds of teams and industries.

After graduating, I joined BCG, where I spent several years working on a range of projects, with a special focus on Generative AI and emerging technologies.

Outside of work, I love staying active and exploring new things. I grew up swimming and still try to get in the pool at least once a week. I’m also super into yoga, and make it a point to take one solo trip every year to recharge and challenge myself. And for a creative outlet, I sing in a choir, which brings me so much joy.

My favorite meals

• 🦐 Seafood boil - This is my ultimate comfort food. Whenever there’s even a minor inconvenience in my life, I will immediately order a seafood boil. There’s nothing better than a big pot overflowing with shrimp, crab, corn, potatoes, and sausage tossed in a buttery, spicy sauce.
• 🌶️ Sichuan - I’m obsessed with the numbing spice and bold flavors of Sichuan cuisine. Chongqing chicken, dan dan noodles, and spicy wontons are my go-to favorites. If you have any recs in the city, please send them my way!
• 🥘 Egusi stew and fufu (pounded yam) - I grew up eating this with my African parents, and it’s still one of my favorite meals. Egusi is a hearty melon seed stew with leafy greens, and fufu is a starchy dough made from yam that’s perfect for scooping it up. It’s pure nostalgia on a plate.

What I’ve been learning about lately

• Learning how to LOVE running (i.e., working on building up endurance and consistency)
• Figuring out how to host better dinner parties - planning menus, creating a good vibe, and bringing people together
• Practicing baking sourdough bread at home
