👋🏼 I’m Katy!

I was born in Michigan to two entrepreneurial parents and am the oldest of four! We moved to Laguna Beach, CA, and later to Austin, TX while I was growing up, so I like to say I’m a bit of a mermaid cowgirl with a Midwestern touch 🙂. I spent the last 10 years living in Austin and recently made my way back out to California — currently living in Pacific Beach, San Diego! I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Health & Society/Pre-Med.

I originally planned to go to grad school to become a dietitian, but decided to pivot to the startup world after graduating. I’ve loved working in health tech for the past couple of years and am so excited to support dietitians in building private practices at Fay!

What I’ve been learning and reading about lately

• Women’s hormone health
• Herbalism! I’ve been deep diving into tinctures, adaptogens, and crafting custom tea blends. My pantry has basically turned into an apothecary 😆
• Yoga philosophy - I completed a yoga teacher training in the jungle outside of Tulum!
