Background

Hi, I’m Meredith! 👋 I was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles (Pasadena) and am now based in San Francisco. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Technology Management from UC Santa Barbara (go Gauchos!) and absolutely loved living by the beach for four years (see below for the view from my backyard in SB!).

Since moving to SF, I’ve built my career in tech sales, gaining extensive experience across several fast-paced startup environments. While I enjoyed the excitement and energy of the startup world, I felt called to pivot to a company whose mission aligns with my personal passion for food, health, wellness, and expanding access to nutrition for all.

As a HUGE foodie, you can usually find me outside of work baking, cooking, or trying a new restaurant (my dream is to start a food blog one day!). As a former ballet dancer, I also have a deep passion for fitness, which has since evolved into a love for Lagree Pilates and hot yoga.

I’m also a big animal lover and have volunteered at a senior dog sanctuary here in SF. Although I don’t have pets of my own, I travel back to LA often to visit my family’s dogs (and my parents too, of course 😉).

I’m excited to be part of a mission-driven team and to bring my energy, creativity, and experience to work every day. I’m always looking to learn, connect, and grow—both personally and professionally—and I’m grateful to be on a path that reflects what I care about most.

My Favorite Meals

• 🌮 Mexican Food: I’m half Mexican so this cuisine has ALWAYS had a special place in my heart! Tacos, enchiladas, pozole, tostadas, tamales, calabacitas, guacamole…. I could go on forever! 😍
• 🍣 Japanese: I could probably eat sushi everyday and be happy. I’m also OBSESSED with matcha and have been drinking it daily for the past 6 years! One of my bucket list items is to go to a traditional Japanese tea ceremony in Uji. 🍵
• 🇬🇷 Greek: One of my favorite restaurants in SF called Kokkari does some of the best Greek food in the city! Their moussaka, greek salad, lamb shank, and tzatziki is definitely one of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. They also have a greek yogurt soft serve with caramelized dates and walnuts that I dream about!

What I’ve been learning lately

• All things sourdough - I’m trying to learn as much as I can before I dive into making my own starter! It’s a labor of love for sure.
• True crime podcasts/documentaries - I LOVE a good documentary on Hulu or Netflix.
