Welcome to my ~ about me ~ it’s giving myspace vibes

I’m Naj, Najelah Najdawi Jones for long, and I’m the daughter of 2 immigrants that fell in love at a 24hr fitness in the Bay Area. My mom is from the Philippines 🇵🇭 and my dad is from Jordan 🇯🇴  I have a sister that’s half Chinese, a husband and an English Bulldog that’s my whole heart

No that doesn’t mean I’m trilingual…my parents decided not to teach me either of their languages to “not confuse me in school” but really they limited my options in becoming an international super spy but it’s fine 😂

Growing up in the Bay Area I was exposed to so much culture, from food, to music, to art, and people — which is the main reason why I’ve never lived outside of the Bay. I’m obsessed with the 90s and early 2000s, especially hyphy movement and the music from that iconic era.

I went to the College of San Mateo to avoid taking the SATs and play water polo with the dreams of transferring to a D1 school, which became a reality when I walked onto the SJSU women’s water polo team. I majored in psychology but didn’t have a plan, so naturally craving competition I fell into sales.

I was officially diagnosed with ADHD in 2018, but have been medication free since 2022 which has been its own journey. I share this to help you understand me and my neurodivergent brain and create space if you can relate. I’ve also been on a personal development journey to heal the relationship I have with myself and it’s been so rewarding to give myself space to simply be me

At Fay, I spend most of my time client-facing, introducing RDs to our platform in our Chat With Fay calls. I love connecting with every provider, hearing their story, and empowering them to launch their private practice and serve people that want access to nutrition therapy. If I’m not client facing I’m currently trying to figure out ways to reach out and connect with RDs that haven’t heard of us yet — you know spreading the good word of Fay 😎

Thank you for taking the time to read this, please put some time on my cal for us to connect 😊
