Background

Hey FAY! My name is Peppiina, most of my friends call me Pep! I was born in Finland but grew up in San Diego, CA. All of my relatives are still overseas and I still speak Finnish 😊 I got my degree in Nutrition/Dietetics at the University of Arizona and then moved to LA to work in sports medicine and on movie sets getting actors physically ready for their roles.

When I was ready to leave adult Disneyland (LA lol) I moved to Nashville and started working at Noom when they were just a small startup. Since then I have worked in start ups, health tech and with YouTube companies.

In my free time I tend to be a social butterfly and love doing all the fun things that Nashville has to offer: live music, hiking, cooking, restaurant hopping, sporting events, dive bars, coffee shops, and lounging at Soho House. I am also a nanny and dog sitter, it gives me my kid and dog fix until I have my own one day!

My favorite meals

• Mediterranean Food: I could eat a greek salad every day of my life (with blocks of feta!) And fresh seafood.
• Sourdough Bread: I get a fresh loaf almost every week from my local bakery and make all kinds of toast and sandwiches.
• Girl Dinner: The perfect meal - French fries, caesar salad and a dirty martini
• A loaded baked potato: I love having these on a Fall Sunday with football playing in the background.
• French Red Wine & charcuterie.

What I’ve been reading and learning about lately

• Psychology/mental health! So many books and podcasts I listen to on these topics with a focus on relationship dynamics (Sadia Khan, Esther Perel, Nicole LePera ).
• Music- I live in Music City and there are so many incredible artists that pass through town. I spend so much time going down rabbit holes learning about artists, their writing, and their creative process.
• Books- I like the the darker twisted stuff! Currently reading The Housemaid by Freida McFadden.
