Background

👋 Hi I’m Tori! I originally wanted to become a doctor, but my parents wanted me to be happy and sent me to art school where I discovered design along the way (I know, I know). Funny enough, I still found my way back to taking care of people, just from a different angle. I love geeking out over the science behind health and wellness and deeply believe in the impact of preventative care (send me all your favorite vitamins, bio hacks, and weird health tech discoveries).

I started my career in installation and marketing design, but have since hand the opportunity to dig deep with companies driving big change in women’s health, physical therapy, and oncology – I’m beyond excited to change the nutrition space with Fay.

What I’ve been learning about lately

🤲 Arts & Crafts - I’ve been going back to my roots and learning new craft skills like glass working, pottery, and sewing
🇳🇵 Nepali - Mero nam tori ho! I started the journey of learning to speak Nepali about a year ago to connect deeper with my partners family. If anyone has any tips on learning script-based languages (or wants to practice with me!!) send them my way

Get to know me a little better

My partner, Shovan, & I moved from SF → NY this past December by train - the trip was gorgeous & very cold 🚂

I love really backpacking, this pic is from the Lost Coast last July where you have to plan your hike to dodge the tides 🌊

I have dreams of hand making a glass chess set (then learning to be good at chess) 🫧

I am bad with navigation, but I am very good at packing trail snacks 🏕️

I have two nieces (1 & 3) whom I love dearly. The older one is my mini me 🤏

We’re dedicating our lives to helping people improve their nutrition with a Registered Dietitian covered by insurance. We hope to be the unsung heroes in the background, putting the needs of dietitians and their clients above all else.
